I'm Julie, and I live with my husband and three young daughters in New South Wales suburbia, Australia. This is the online journal I kept until recently, of how we are trying to live more simply & sustainably in suburbia.
This blog is on indefinite hiatus but please feel free to look around my archives for some inspiration in your own journey to living more lightly and sustainably.

SunCube Solar Appliances
A friend of mine forwarded me the link to the SunCube Solar Appliances website today, I have to say that after a quick squiz I am very impressed, particularly with the little $1500, grid-connected 600 kWh system - quite affordable for people like me! I know nothing about these types of things, but to a complete novice, they look pretty cool :-)

Still waiting for your SunCube?
Don't bother..it is a gigantic scam designed to suck in "expressions of intent to purchase"
Greg Watson ( a notorious conman) then uses these "orders" to convince mug investors to purchase licenses for million dollar sums.
The Suncube is just a sham...it has NEVER been proven to work.
Watson also attempted to sell shares in fantasy solar farms to "mum and dad" investors.
Read all about it here...http://www.mudcat.org/thread.cfm?threadid=102146&messages=8
