Gardening Australia Expo

We're off to the Gardening Australia Expo in Sydney tomorrow - to say I'm very excited at the prospect of seeing my organic gardening hero, Peter Cundall, would be an understatement LOL.

I've been poring over the events timetable for a day or so now - decision, decisions! Needless to say that Peter's presentations are at the top of my list ;-)

We considered catching a train from here to Sydney, but the logistics of getting the kids to the in-laws and CityRail timetables defeated us: we'd no sooner get there then it would be time to come home again LOL. So we are driving to Hornsby (the northernmost train stop, i.e. closest to our place) and training it from there; seems a reasonable compromise.

The Gardening Australia Expo is on at the Sydney Olympic Showground at Homebush, and is on today, tomorrow and Sunday. Locals can find out more information about it here.

I really wanted to go , but it is a 4 hour drive for us and we were already in Sydney earlier this month. Maybe next year. Please take some pics to share and say hello to my guru Peter for me.
