Homemade: The Handmade Help Recipe Book

After the devastating bushfires in southern Australia earlier this year, several crafty (and blogger) ladies put together the Hand Made Helps Out website to help contribute to both raising money for the victims and also restoring some of the victims' crafty goodness, including through gifts of hand made toys or art and craft items to replenish lost equipment and stashes.

One of the projects was the collation of various recipes into a book to be donated to the victims, and to be made available for sale to raise more funds, with the proceeds to be donated to the Salvation Army relief appeal.

The recipe book is now finished and limited copies are available for sale HERE!

You can either pre-order a paperback copy of the book for AUD$15 plus postage, which will arrive at the end of the month I think, or you buy a PDF version of the book to download immediately for AUD$8. Payment is via PayPal.

For every copy sold, one copy is donated directly to people who lost their homes and belongings in the fires.

I emailed off a few recipes to be included and I think I may have had one included - I don't know which one and from memory, they weren't very exciting recipes - but hey, I bought a book anyway as it's for a good cause. I have pre-ordered one of the limited edition hard copies. I know, I know, it's paper and all, but I love having an actual book on hand in the kitchen instead of having to run back to the computer screen for instructions!
