Phew!
Can't stop - it's SUNNY and GORGEOUS outside and it has been all weekend! Hubby took the day off to do some gardening and the kids have been having a sleepover at Grandma's while I alternate between getting utterly filthy in the garden and washing everything I can lay my hands on so that they can dry in the SUN for a change.
Too nice to be inside! Although I did open every window this morning to hopefully air out some of the musty winter smells. I just came back in to grab a big glass of lemon cordial, mmmmm.
See you tomorrow (I hope).

Oh yeah! Hasn't it been beautiful- I've been out there too, and the garden has that freshly tended look- I love that. I'm putting in my first ever asparagus crowns, in beds that probably weren't as well prepared as they should have been. I tried to post a comment a few days ago about the puppy dog crisis, but for some reason my computer wouldn't let me- hope that has all settled down and the memory and stains are fading!
ooh I love days like that! Still very cold here - too cold to open the windows but it has been sunny (but that wind chill is about -10!!). While I am loving the fact we've had an unusually wet winter so far, it is great to see the sun every now and then. :)
Hi Julie,
We have had some lovely, still and sunny days in the last couple of weeks. It's still cold down here on those days but occasionally I throw open the house and revel in the brisk fresh air.
Kind Regards
Belinda
too hot here to open any windows or doors, the temp. has been up 118 and very humid, I guess summer is here :-| Enjoy the nice weather while you can!
Oh, I hope we get a day like that soon. I crave to air the house and weed my garden. Its coming, the temps are slowly creeping up!
Hi Nicola,
Yes, it's been *gorgeous*, hasn't it! My garden is beginning to look a little loved again too, very satisfying. Good luck with your asparagus, I've got another potted seedling from my Mum to go in too, yum! Thanks for the thoughts about the kids and dog - thankfully both are fine :-)
Hi Eilleen,
Brrr, the wind blows off the snow down your way, no wonder it's icy! The thing I remember most about Canberra is my duck down doona and electric blanket ;-)
Hi Belinda,
Isn't it wonderful to blow the stuffiness away occasionally?
Hi Anon,
LOL, it's funny to be reading US blogs where it's over 100'F at the moment! It will soon be our turn again, so I'm soaking up the mild temperatures :-)
Hi Joanne,
Yes, and the days are slowly getting longer again - Spring is coming!
Cheers, Julie
