Richmond River Green Cucumbers

A Photo A Day Challenge: Photo #14

My favourite 'apple' cucumber, crunchy & sweet. This year it is growing amongst the Bougainvillea.

Although I started this challenge late, it is my aim to harvest at least one thing from my garden every day this year - and photograph it. If I can manage to pick 360 different varieties, then so much the better!

Cheers,

Hi julie

They look lovely. I love small cucumbers that can be used in a single go - rather than putting half back in the fridge. Are these small enough for that? Maybe we can do a swap for some seeds one day?

Hi Tricia,
Yes they are that small, my girls eat them like fruit (peeled of course). Am in the process of saving seeds from one that got away from me and went yellow, so I will save some for you too :-)

Cheers, Julie

Thanks :-)

I'll swap you some honey (and beeswax if you still need any) for some :-)
