Top Weight Carrots

A Photo A Day Challenge: Photo #37

This batch of carrots are very 'hairy', i.e. covered in lots of fine roots; a product of too much fertiliser in the soil I'm told. They still taste good though :-)

I started this challenge on January 5 - it is my aim to harvest at least one thing from my garden every day this year - and photograph it. If I can manage to pick 360 different varieties, then so much the better! This is 37/360.
