I'm Julie, and I live Australian suburbia. This blog is the online journal I kept to record my family's journey towards living more simply & sustainably.

This blog is on indefinite hiatus but feel free to look around my archives for some inspiration in your own journey to living more lightly and sustainably. Please note that Blogger has 'eaten' some of my older photos which I am unable to retrieve at the moment.

I am now blogging at Our Simple Days, if you would like to stop by.

Black Passionfruit

A Photo A Day Challenge: Photo #119

I started this challenge on January 5. It is my aim to harvest at least one thing from my garden every day this year - and photograph it. If I could have managed to pick 360 different varieties, then so much the better! This is photo #119 of what is now a possible 212 photos/varieties.

Cheers,

Wow, you have passionfruit this early? I don't think mine are even flowering yet (must go down the side & check that actually). I love the taste of fresh passionfruit :-).

Toria they sat on the vine green all winter and are only now ripening. The vine is about to start flowering again soon I think :-)

I've heard of passionfruit before, but I've never seen one. I've never really thought of them actually existing in edible form. What do they taste like?
