So now that i'm on top of the slugs - i hope I don't get mice! Ha ha! We had a Jack Russell for many ...</title><content type='html'>Hi Mariana,&lt;br /&gt;Ha ha! We had a Jack Russell for many years growing up and we certainly didn't have any mice troubles.  Our two dogs are far more interested in birds than mice sadly (a side effect of having gun dogs obviously!)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hi Anon #1,&lt;br /&gt;Yes, nothing worse then dead mice in the walls or ceiling, they smell unbelievably bad.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hi Anon #2,&lt;br /&gt;Yes you are probably right. I&amp;#39;m commenting on your assumption of the one mouse theory. I found out when my Main Coon passed just how well he kept the mouse population down. Within a month or two of a hard freeze they were inside. My two indoor cats were spending days and nights staring at my stove this went on for weeks without a break. The mice were attempting to eat the cats dry food and my two males took it personally. :~€&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;I started live trapping an  relocating outdoors. After catching 20 I started using snap traps. Then using a expanding foam and steel wool. mice.&lt;br /&gt;You can use instant mashed potatoes on a plate scattered around your garden.
