It was 41.5 here a couple of days ago and I managed to kill off one of my worm farms (I have two) because I forgot to bring it inside. Sob! The other worm farm has a few survivors. Even leaving the farms under cover in the shade kills the worms when we get a run of Adelaide heat.

Patricia we have the same situation here in Brisbane. I remember back to May June July and see photos of how luscious our lawn was then and feel a bit sad to look at it now.

I was hoping to establish a vege garden but I think I'll wait until March when its a bit cooler.

I'm with Mam only just a bit warmer because of the balmy coastal breeze! Ha! I'm not wanting heat just yet but soon I will be. Soon, I'll be sick of winter driving and getting on fourteen layers to feed the hens. The hens are getting mad at me too. They do not like the cold!

Yesterday was not great but it's better here today.

At the moment the fog is so thick that I can't see the trees at the end of the yard. I am not going to mention what else it is doing cause I don't want you to dislike me, a lot.
