Oh I can't stand ads! I only watch the news on commercial TV and since we have a set-top box I let it go while we are eating dinener and then rewind it so I can fast forward through the ads (and the sport LOL).

Hi Julie, I have to agree with hand-knitted meusli. Although it gives me the guilts, a little domestos in the shower does it for me in this mould ridden environment.I love the idea of the oil of cloves. It might help reduce the the domestos use.I'll give it a go. Thanks.

I'm sure you will look back in a few months and realise it is Env 3 and Julie 3. I think there are just some things we need a little help getting rid of. Our clothes dryer blew up 2 yrs ago. I rarely used it but was worried about those rare occasions where I really needed to dry something in a hury. That occasion never happened. I love that I now have extra space in my layndry where the dryer used to be.

My hubby and I turned of the tv nearly a year ago (last July, but we turned it back on for Tour de France and the Olympics). We love having it off! That said, we are still infront of the screen a lot, but we don't even miss the tv. We love not seeing ads!!!!!!

Your story is a little like my washing machine one. As soon as we decide we need to LOOK for a new one, the old one decides to retire - leaving me little research and bargaining time. Each day I am hoping, begging and praying for another load or two. We are getting closer to our new machine though.

Would love to know more about the vinegar/bicarb paste... do you just mix it up and then apply with your old toothbrush where you see mould or all over the shower?? curious..
